From Dominant to Defeated
Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia came into Rome riding a 15-match winning streak across the Premier Padel and WPT circuits. But that run ended abruptly in the semifinals of the Italy Major, where they were outplayed by Galán and Chingotto in a tactical masterclass.
Coello looked unusually out of rhythm, while Tapia struggled with depth and consistency. Their body language revealed tension not seen in previous tournaments.
